American Board of Cosmetic Surgery
The mission of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) is to serve the public by promoting the safe and ethical practice of the specialty of cosmetic surgery. Diplomates of the ABCS shall demonstrate the highest standards of training, knowledge, and expertise, as determined by a process of peer review and standardized examination and certification.
America Academy of Cosmetic Surgery
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery fosters, promotes, supports, augments, develops and encourages the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery. Since its formation in 1985, AACS has grown to become the leading representative of cosmetic surgery practitioners from a diverse array of medical disciplines including general surgery, plastic surgery, dermatologic surgery, ophthalmology and otolaryngology.
American Society of Liposuction Surgery
Founded in 1982, the ASLS currently operates as a specialty organization within the AACS and is specifically dedicated to the practice and advancement of liposuction. Our objective is to educate and further enhance the abilities of practicing surgeons who are committed to the specialty of liposuction.
