Laser Skin Resurfacing (Active FX)
Active FX fractional laser for skin resurfacing is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, stimulate formation of underlying collagen, and tighten skin. This procedure is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes. It also can be applied to treat facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation.
Active FX may be performed on the whole face or in specific regions. This procedure is usually done in conjunction with another cosmetic operation, such as a Facelift, Endoscopic forehead and Midface lift or Eyelid surgery.
